What you’ll be able to do
Your question is saved as a conversation with the clinic that you can come back to and reply in.
Before you start
- You can sign in to your Medquote patient account.
- A clinic has shared a treatment plan with your account or opened a trip for you.
Choose the item your question concerns
Every question is about a plan or a trip a clinic has shared with you, so the right clinic receives it. Until a clinic has shared one, the form shows Nothing to ask about yet, a clinic has to share a plan or open a trip first.
- In your patient account, open My requests.
- Under About, choose the plan or trip your question is about.
- Under What kind of question, choose A question, A problem or A follow-up.
Write and send
Give the question a short, specific Subject of at least three characters and describe what you need under Your message. If you have urgent symptoms, use the urgent contact route your clinic gave you rather than a routine message.
- Enter a Subject and your message.
- Choose Send to the clinic. The conversation opens so you can see your question was posted.
- Come back to the conversation from My requests to read the clinic's reply or add a follow-up. In a reply you can choose Attach from my documents to add up to five files already in your account.

If the list under the form says there is nothing to ask about
Before your first question, the space under the form can show the same line, Nothing to ask about yet, even when the form above it already lets you choose a plan or trip. If the About list offers your plan or trip, you can ask. If the form itself is replaced by that line, no clinic has shared a plan or opened a trip for you yet; ask the clinic to share the relevant plan.
Questions & answers
Can I send a question before the clinic shares anything?
No. The form needs a plan or trip a clinic has shared with you. If there is none yet, contact your clinic through its usual contact details.
Can I reply after a conversation is marked closed?
Yes. A closed conversation shows This conversation is closed. A new message from either side reopens it.
